Step by step
Set up Follow-up Automation
Create from Lead Automation → Follow-up Automation → Create Automation.
How it runs
Processed about every 15 minutes. Unique per Initial Template + Target Group.
- 1 A campaign sends the Initial Template to contacts in the Target Group (or All Contacts).
- 2 If the contact does not reply, Follow-up 1–3 send after their delays.
- 3 A reply stops the journey (status Stopped). Completing with no reply can move them to the Non-Responders Group.
- 4 Starting another template automation for the same contact also stops the current journey.
Manage and monitor
Hub list: Your Follow-up Automations — Active / Paused / Inactive.
- 1 From the hub: View, Pause/Resume, Edit, or Delete.
- 2 On Follow-up Automation Details: Pause/Resume, Edit, and a contacts table (Status, Current Step, Started, View Journey).
- 3 Contact statuses include Active, Completed, Stopped, and Failed.

Tips
- Space Follow-up 1 at least 24 hours; use different templates and personalization.
- Test with a small group before a large campaign send of the Initial Template.
- Non-Responders Group is useful for later retargeting campaigns.
